We switched to VS Code from Sublime Text for their seamless Claude Code integration. It's now our favored and default code editor.

When you need to get your hands dirty, is there a better IDE?

Of course, CodeViz as it exists today wouldn't be possible without VS Code. We need our codebase maps to be built into the developer workflow, and VS Code's extensive API makes this possible.

A great versatile tool for virtually every development platform. The fact that it's a web app wrapped in Electron is a bummer, but forgivable in this case since it works very well most of the time.

This is an amazing IDE which helps in development of code. The best part is the availability of thousands of plugins which allow you to optimize it for your technology stack. We use it for development of C++, Python and Docker/Compose files as well.
