It's like discord, but more professional. Love the ability to share memes with coworkers, while also being productive

I used this for my startup 2 years ago, love the thread and channel features, very precious communication.
it's amazing. I love how I can create canvas for all my timelines, summaries, project plans. It's great to even create my own section of channels (helps with browsing)
Communicated with Slack!
Slack is the gold standard for team communication—clean, fast, and purpose-built for getting work done without the noise. Its real-time messaging, organized channels, and powerful integrations keep everything and everyone aligned. The ability to customize notifications, automate workflows with bots, and integrate with nearly every major tool (GitHub, Jira, Google Drive, etc.) makes Slack a serious productivity multiplier. It’s not just chat—it’s a central nervous system for modern teams. If you're serious about collaboration and speed, Slack delivers exactly what you need. Nothing more, nothing less.
The ability to integrate other applications like Google Docs and Trello directly into the platform also enhances productivity and reduces the need to switch between different apps, improving our workflow. The search functionality, which allows past conversations and shared files to be easily found, is also incredibly useful. However, Slack may require a bit of a learning curve for those who are new to collaboration tools, and the mobile version could use some improvements in terms of performance.

I can't think of a better way to keep in touch with colleagues an external clients. And, it's so easy to find previous messages, even from years ago!
However, Slack may require a bit of a learning curve for those who are new to collaboration tools, and the mobile version could use some improvements in terms of performance. Despite these minor setbacks, Slack remains one of my favorite tools for team communication and project management
Very powerful, though some of the features are a little tough to discover.
I love slack. They have figured out how to make communication seem natural and unobtrusive. I have been running a personal slack workspace since 2015
We talk so much on slack, we need an indexing tool for it!
