GitHub is the backbone of Warp’s open‑source development. Our source code and agents all live in public repos where contributors can file issues, open PRs, and where we can ship features together with the community.
Octoscope exists because of GitHub’s GraphQL API. It gives us profile, activity, repo health, and network data in a single query — fast enough to power a live-refreshing terminal dashboard.

GitHub is the backbone of my coding workflow.
GitHub is the heartbeat of our entire development workflow. Our GitHub App integration with webhooks has enabled us to we track and respond to development events in real-time. Every PR, deployment, issue, and commit automatically triggers our Agentic analysis and governance workflows. The webhook system is incredibly reliable - we're processing thousands of events daily without missing a beat.

GitHub is an essential tool for developers. Its version control system is top - notch, making it easy to manage code changes. The community aspect is great for collaboration. However, for beginners, the learning curve can be a bit steep. I'd give it 4 stars.
Absolutely essential to maintain and streamline our development
I use GitHub with my team to manage our code and collaborate on projects. It helps us track changes and review each other’s work easily. The pull request system is very helpful. Sometimes the interface feels a bit complex, but overall it supports our development process well.
GitHub is the backbone of our codebase — from version control to PR reviews, it keeps our dev workflow tight and collaborative. Can’t ship without it.
